A Tuli Experience in Mashatu Tent Camp
45 minutes away from Mashatu Main Camp in a refuge so different, the Mashatu Tent Camp is the leisure choice for the guest who seeks the ultimate one-on-one bush experience and who prefers a more intimate environment.
The Mashatu Tent Camp does not permit children under the age of 12.
- Eight completely private tents, spacious and comfortable, tucked under the branches of enormous trees, accessible via meandering pathways.
- Meals in the open-air thatched gazebo or in the boma (enclosure) overlooking the floodlit, well populated waterhole.
- A sturdy and shaded hide overlooking the waterhole where bush enthusiasts can sit quietly and witness animals going about their day, completely unaware that they are being watched.
Day 1
Arrive Mashatu (D)
On arrival at the Limpopo Valley Airfield or Pont Drift Border Post, a representative from Mashatu Tent Camp will meet you for your transfer to the camp in an open safari vehicle.
Dinner is served under the stars in the traditional open-air boma, while the sounds of the surrounding bushveld serenade you.

Day 2
Mashatu (B/L/D)
A wide range of safari activities await you… day and night vehicle safari, walking, mountain bike and horseback riding.
Dedicated, experienced rangers and trackers are ready to show you their world of wildlife and the diverse variety of fauna and flora which abound throughout the Reserve.

Day 3
Mashatu (B/L/D)
Embark on game drive, accompanied by an experienced game ranger and tracker.

Day 4
Mashatu (B)
It’s time to check out and say farewell to Mashatu. You will be transferred back to the Pont Drift Border post or Limpopo Valley Airfield for your onward journey.
