A Mala Mala Sable Camp Experience
Mala Mala Game Reserve is the largest private Big Five game reserve in South Africa with a 12 mile unfenced border, lying sandwiched between the world-renowned Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sand Reserve.
Your 3 night stay at Mala Mala’s Sable Camp is especially designed for the more reclusive traveler who prefers privacy and exclusivity. This ideal retreat in the Sabi Sands is situated at the southern end of the Mala Mala Main Camp in a prime elevated position overlooking the Sand River and surrounding bushveld.
A dedicated team of staff are on hand to ensure the guests’ needs are taken care of, whilst highly qualified rangers continue to present close contact viewing in the diverse wilderness that is Mala Mala Game Reserve.
The Sable Camp does not accommodate children under the age of 12, unless the entire camp is reserved exclusively at the respective charge.
- Outdoor activities are led by highly qualified rangers, most of whom have university degrees in the natural sciences and are thoroughly conversant with all aspects of bushveld ecology.
Day 1
Arrive Mala Mala / Transfer to Sable Camp (D)
On arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, after Customs and Immigration clearance you will be met by our representative who will arrange your transfer to the Mala Mala Game Reseerve, Sable Camp, situated at the southern end of the Mala Mala Main Camp and overlooking the Sand River. Admire unimpeded views – a rich and interactive experience!

Day 2
Sable Camp (B/L/D)
Mala Mala is a great place to see the big 5. The rangers are very professional, and will stop at nothing to make your lifetime experience a reality!
Activities range from walking safaris to 4×4 safaris which may include sumptuous bush breakfasts, picnic lunches.

Day 3
Sable Camp (B/L/D)
Enjoy game drives in open 4-wheel drive safari vehicles.

Day 4
Sable Camp / Departure (B)
Today you are free to decide whether you want to go back home and we could arrange your transfer to the airport OR you may contact us for an extension to another unique safari location.
