Day 1
Arrive Nairobi – Saturday
You will be met by our representative on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your lodge. Meals at your own expense.
Overnight stay in a lodge in Nairobi on twin sharing basis.
Day 2
Nairobi / Amboseli – Sunday (L/D)
Your safari commences with a drive to Amboseli National Park (155 miles)nestled at the foothills of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Lunch is followed by a late afternoon game-drive.
Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
Day 3
Amboseli – Monday (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast drive to the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha (217 miles) arriving at the lodge in the early afternoon with lunch en route. Rest of the afternoon at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions including guided walks with naturalists or boat rides (book and pay locally).
Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Day 4
Amboseli / Lake Naivasha – Tuesday (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve (168 miles) arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in one of the world’s finest game reserves.
Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 5
Lake Naivasha / Masai Mara – Wednesday (B/L/D)
Depart early for your journey to the Masai Mara Game Reserve (168 miles). Afternoon game drive.
Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6
Masai Mara – Thursday (B/L/D)
An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive.
Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 7
Masai Mara / Departure or Extension – Friday (B)
Return to Nairobi (186 miles) for departure or proceed with your chosen beach extension.
