Namibia is located in southwest Africa. It is a large and mainly arid country sharing borders with Angola to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africa to the south.
Wedged between the Kalahari and the South Atlantic, Namibia boasts deserts, seascapes and contrasting landscapes that never fail to enthrall its visitors. The desolate Namib Desert is said to be the oldest in the world, with its high dunes and awe-inspiring sense of space. The population density is one of the lowest in the world at less than 3 people per square mile.
The country is beautiful and blessed with rich natural resources, a solid modern infrastructure, diverse cultures and 300 days of sunshine a year.
