Hola! I am Mauricio Esquivel, a Costa Rica Travel Specialist with more than 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. I am home-based in Cartago, Costa Rica while the head office of A&S Signature Journeys is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
I developed a passion for travel after being an exchange student in Ohio where I truly enjoyed the U.S. culture and meeting people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. After returning home, I was captivated by the rapid growth of tourism in Costa Rica, and a few years later I graduated from Travel & Tourism.
I love designing and paying attention to small details of any itinerary since every traveler is different and cannot be thrown in a single bucket.
