Kuala Lumpur begins your journey with many tours of the cities old and modern highlights that give the city its vibrance. Tour continues to Taman Negara, allowing you to discover the nature including the Canopy Walkway and Teresek Hill. Ending your journey is tours of Cameron Highlands and Penang.

Itinerary

Day 1

Kuala Lumpur (L)

You will be met by our representative at the hotel and commence your tour, Discover KL Heritage (walking) Tour.

This tour highlights the old and the modern that makes this city vibrant. This tour begins with a city train ride to Masjid Jamek, the meeting point of two rivers where Kuala Lumpur begins. From here, begin your experience of this living museum on foot, admiring the centuries-old colonial buildings, minarets, spires and arches of the area that continues to be sings that bewitch. You will be able to sample & witness the making of our typical local food – roti canal (a type of flatbread) and teh tarik (literally, ‘pulled tea’, a frothy tea concussion). Also, learn about the single-phase construction of Mughal-style colonial public buildings, that includes the famous Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Some of the other highlights include: Jalan Masjid India (Indian Mosque Street), The Colonial Core, Medan Pesar (Old Market Square), Central Market, Sin Sze Si Ya Temple (built by the Chinese leader Yap Ah Loy in the 19th century). Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Chinatown, Chan She Shu Yuen Clan House. Transfer back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 2

Kuala Lumpur / Kuala Tembeling / Taman Negara (B)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Istana hotel for coach to depart to Kuala Tumbling (journey takes approximately 4 1/2 hours drive). Upon arrival at Kuala Tumbling Jetty, please proceed to register with the National Park and Wildlife Department; lunch at the jetty area (own arrangement). Normally, the boat will depart at 1300 hours longboat journey will bring you passing through intense jungles and villages.

Upon arrival to Kuala Tahan, we will register and check in to the resort. evening, dinner will be at Sri Mutiara Restaurant (own arrangement) and followed by a video presentation at the Interpretive Center. Then, we will proceed for a Night Jungle Walk with Nature Guide. You can experience walking inside the rainforest at night and learn about nocturnal plants and insects.

*NOTE: Please bring along long/short pants, short sleeve loose cotton t-shirt, sport shoes, swimming attire, towel, insect repellent (no denim / jeans and tight / body shape shirt). Kindly take note the rainy season os between middle of November to middle / end of January. During the rainy season, some of the activities may be cancelled should there be a high element of safety at risk.

Day 3

Taman Negara (B)

Breakfast is served at the resort. The highlights of the morning activities will be the jungle trekking to Canopy Walkway and Teresek Hill with Nature Guide. This is a soft adventure activity which will take you through the rainforest to enjoy a panoramic view of Gunung Tahan on top of Teresek hill. Next, experience the canopy walkway, the longest tree top suspension bridge in the world, 530 meters long and 50 meters in height from the ground. We will return to the resort for lunch (own arrangement) after the above activities.

In the afternoon, depart for a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh. Enjoy the scenery along the cruise. A short trek through the rainforest may be required to reach Lata Berkoh, subject to river water conditions.

Day 4

Taman Negara / Kuala Tahan / Cameron Highlands (B/D)

After breakfast, check out from the resort and take a taxi boat across the river at 0900 hours. Our vehicle will be waiting for you at K. Tahan Jetty and continue with transfer to Cameron Highlands *journey takes approximately 6 hours drive). En-route stop for lunch on your own. Upon arrival Cameron Highlands, check-in to the resort, rest & relax. Steamboat dinner will be served at the resort.

Day 5

Cameron Highlands / Penang (B)

Breakfast is served at the resort. Today, we will proceed for Discover Cameron Tour. This tour will take you to a Tea Plantation and Factory to witness the processing of black tea and later to sample various kinds of tea in the teahouse. We will also have an opportunity to visit the orang Asli Hut and Butterfly Farm. Stop for lunch on your own. After the tour overland to Penang upon arrival check in to the hotel.

Day 6

Penang (B/AT)

Breakfast is served at hotel. Later proceed to explore Penang, the “Pearl of the Orient” from its sandy shores to quaint countryside and nostalgic Georgetown.

Among the highlights of this tour: Batu Ferringhi (drive pass), Teluk Bhang (drive pass), Fishing Village, Fruite Stalls (drive pass), Malay Village, Snake Temple, Penang Bridge (drive pass), and Georgetown (drive pass). If time permits, a visit to a local product outlet may be included. All entrance fees are included.

In the late afternoon enjoy a romantic trishaw ride in the city of Georgetown. Discover how a number of multi-cultured people can live harmoniously together in this city.

Among the highlights of this tour: Trishaw ride to Fort Cornwallis (outside view), Weld Quay (Chew Jetty), Khoo Kongis, Street of Harmony, Little India (Mhamariamman Temple), Pinang Peranakan Mansion and afternoon tea at E & O Hotel.

Day 7

Penang (B)

Breakfast is served at the hotel. Free at own leisure until departure pick up, you will be transferred to the airport/jetty for your final destination.
