This magnificent safari visits key areas of the migration path between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. All accommodation has been selected for the superb location. You may even be lucky enough to witness one of nature’s great events, the great migration.

Day 1
Arrive Nairobi (Monday)
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for a day at leisure, or choose from a selection of optional excursions which can be booked and paid for locally.
Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 2
Nairobi / Samburu (B/L/D)
This morning drive to the Samburu National Reserve (approximately 6 hours) and arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge. Late afternoon game drive.

Day 3
Samburu (B/LD)
Morning and late afternoon game drives.
Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 4
Samburu / Aberdares (B/L/D)
Drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya and check in to Mountain Lodge (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes). Spend the afternoon viewing game from the Lodge or join an optional nature walk led by a local guide (payable locally and weather permitting).
Overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge.
Day 5
Aberdares / Lake Nakuru (B/L/D)
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru (approximately 4 hours). Lunch at the Lodge before enjoying an afternoon game drive, with possible sightings of rhino.
Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 6
Lake Nakuru / Masai Mara (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast drive through the Great Rift Valley and into the Masai Mara (approximately 7 hours). Lunch en route to your Lodge. A late afternoon game drive.
Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 7
Masai Mara (B/L/D)
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the Lodge, or an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast (optional extra). Spend the rest of the day relaxing before a late afternoon game drive.
Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 8
Masai Mara / Arusha (B/L/D)
Drive to Nairobi for lunch (approximately 6 hours), or lunch in the Mara and fly by light aircraft to Nairobi.
Transfer to Nairobi airport for an evening flight to Kilimanjaro. Transfer to Serena Mountain Village for dinner and overnight.
Day 9
Arusha / Lake Manyara (B/L/D)
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions (approximately 2.5 hours). Your Lodge commands panoramic views across the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Here you have time to relax before an afternoon game drive.

Day 10
Lake Manyara / Serengeti (B/L/D)
Drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route (approximately 5 hours).
Overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 11
Serengeti (B/L/D)
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the Lodge, or an early morning balloon flight over the Serengeti followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast (optional extra). Later enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 12
Serengeti / Ngorongoro (B/L/D)
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 4 hours) via Olduvai Gorge, and check in to your Lodge which is perched on the jagged rim of the Crater. The afternoon is at leisure.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 13
Ngorongoro (B/L/D)
Drive down into the Crater for a half-day of game viewing. This extinct volcano plays host to wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos and big cats. Visit a local Masai village (time permitting).
Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 14
Ngorongoro / Arusha / Departure (B/L)
Drive to Arusha (approximately 3.5 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
