Day 1
Arrive Mumbai
Welcome to India! You are met by our representative in the arrival area of the airport after you clear all immigration and customs formalities.
Depart for your hotel where you will check in for your overnight stay.
Day 2
Mumbai (B)
After breakfast, proceed on an excursion of Elephanta Caves, located one hour by boat out of Mumbai, on the rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island.
In the afternoon take a city tour of Mumbai.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 3
Mumbai/Cochin (B)
This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Cochin. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
In the afternoon you can enjoy a city tour and witness a Kathakali dance show in the evening.

Day 4
Cochin (B)
A very special journey around Cochin takes you into the villages of Kerala, to weaving and coir centers where you will part-take in a traditional Kerala meal prepared at a local home.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 5
Cochin/Periyar (B)
Check out of hotel and drive to Periyar (approximately 4 to 5 hours) – the Spice Village of India. Check in to your resort hotel, located on the fringes of the Periyar Game Reserve. In the evening proceed to visit the park for game viewing by motor launches. Convoluted waterways afford sightings of elephants, bison, deer and occasionally a tiger. All manner of flora and fauna flourish in this tropical habitat.

Day 6
Periyar (B)
Enjoy a morning game drive in the National Park. Later tour the Spice Plantation and be treated to lunch, prepared with spices, fresh off the plantation.

Day 7
Periyar/Cochin/Goa (B)
After breakfast drive to Cochin airport – approximately 4 hours and take the flight to Goa. This is the tranquil beach paradise on the west coast of India.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel to spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8
Goa (B)
Enjoy a half day tour of Old Goa this morning. The rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
