Day 1
Liberia City arrival
Welcome at Liberia International Airport (LIR) by a representative of A&S Travel and transfer to the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano area thru a well-maintained gravel road.
Day 2
Hike to “Las Pailas” trail
The Las Pailas sector spectacularly shows the power of the Rincon de la Vieja volcano, the most active and largest volcano in Guanacaste. Steam and sulfur come from natural fumaroles of the yellow and rusty soil. Witness clay pails in various shades of brown with boiling volcanic water, fine gray volcanic mud bubbles and explosions in large pails.

Go for more adventure tours on horseback, on foot or zip lining on the canopy forest. If you wish a more relaxed day enjoy the volcanic hot springs on the Rio Negro, naturally heated by the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. For a rejuvenating treatment on your body, you can use the hot volcanic mud, which works just like a spa body masque.
Day 4
Rincón de la Vieja to Conchal Beach
Free morning for optional activities, early afternoon private transportation towards the Northern Pacific coastline until reaching Playa Conchal and the resort you will stay for the next days.

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the beach line and relax at the hotel facilities.
Day 6
Palo Verde & Guaitil tour
Explore on a covered boat the natural hydrologic system of Palo Verde that creates the right conditions to produce in the zone the most important concentration of birds in the country and Central America. After a hearty lunch stop at local village of Guaitil to learn the process of making and decorating pottery pieces with ancient techniques.

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the beach line and relax at the hotel facilities.
Day 8
Liberia departure
Departure transfer to International Airport.
