Day 1

Arrive Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel. Welcome to Uganda! Welcome to Uganda!

Day 2

AM Fly to Kibale Forest National Park/PM Chimpanzee Trekking

After breakfast, you will fly from Entebbe to Kasese Airstrip after which you will drive to Kibale National Park. In the afternoon, you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale Forest National Park which are the Chimpanzees. The forest has one of the highest diversity of primates in Africa totaling 13 species including the Black and White colobus Monkeys, Blue Monkey and Grey-checked Mangabey, Red Tailed Monkey, Bush Babies, and Pottos. Thereafter you will proceed to your accommodation for overnight.

Day 3

Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today you will be transferred to Kasese Airstrip and then fly to Kihihi Airstrip, upon arrival, you will meet with your guide and then drive to your lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon, and other beautiful forest species. You shall go to bed earlier this evening since you should be fit for gorilla trekking the next day.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking

This morning you will get up early and go for the upcoming gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas.

Day 5

Fly Back to Entebbe for Nairobi

After breakfast, you will transfer to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of southwestern Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Afterward, you will arrive at the Airport and catch a flight for Nairobi. On arrival at Jomo, Kenyata International Airport proceed through immigration and custom formalities. Collect your bags and meet our representative who will be holding a sign board with your name. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 6

Nairobi to Mugie House By Flight

After Breakfast, get transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Mugie House. The Governors’ Camp Collection, and perfectly combines with our other properties, expanding an already diverse array of wildlife locations and activities. The location is Mugie Conservancy, a private wildlife conservancy in Laikipia of almost 50’000 acres hosting an array of impactful community and conservation programs.

Mugie House

Enjoy the activities at Mugie House. Mugie House offers a variety of unique activities including an Anti-poaching unit, Tala the Giraffe, & Big Cat Tracking.

Day 9

Mugie House to Mara by Flight

After Breakfast takes the flight for Mara.

Day 10

Little Governor’s Camp

You are in the heart of what is widely considered to be the best game viewing area of the Masai Mara and offer guests two to three game drives per day in custom-built 4-wheel drive Landcruisers.

Day 11

Departure Kenya

After Breakfast, transfer to the air strip for your flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport. On arrival, you will transfer by road to Jomo Kenyata international airport and connect with your return flight to the USA
