Day 1

Arrive Johannesburg

“Meet and Greet on Arrival” with Travel Wallet.
Transfer from O.R. Tambo Airport to hotel.

Day 2

Johannesburg (B)

Enjoy a private full day Johannesburg city tour, Soweto and Apartheid Museum which is an extraordinarily powerful museum that has become the city’s leading attraction. The museum depicts apartheid scenes with large blown-up photographs, metal cages and continuous video replays.

Overnight at Sandton Sun Hotel or Southern Sun Hyde Park (Standard Room).

Day 3

Johannesburg (B)

Private full day Lesedi cultural village tour, where you can experience the vibrant and colorful traditions of the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi, Xhosa and Zulu people. Later in the afternoon, you are taken to your homestead for the night.

Day 4

Johannesburg (B)

Today you visit the Sterkfontein Caves, discovered in 1896 by an Italian gold prospector and now regarded as one of the world’s most important archaeological sites.

Continue into the depths of the caves where, beneath the dust of millions of years, you will see the resting place of some of the most important fossils ever found and hear the magnitude of their significance to the world.

Day 5

Johannesburg / Pilansberg National Park (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to the Pilansberg National Park, highly rated amongst the world’s outstanding geological phenomena. It is one of the largest volcanic complexes of its kind in the world.

Day 6

Pilansberg National Park (B/L/D)

Enjoy the full day in Pilansberg National Park taking in the sights of this timeless area.

Day 7

Pilansberg National Park / Johannesburg / Cape Town (B)

Transfer to O.R.Tambo Airport. Flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town excluded. Transfer from Cape Town Airport to hotel.

Day 8

Cape Town (B)

Enjoy a tour of the city including a cable ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for spectacular views of the city and surroundings below. The ‘must-sees’ of the city include its historical beginnings to the dazzling modern shopping malls of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Take a ferry to Robben Island, formerly a political prison and leper colony and now a historic landmark, museum and national monument. Experience the conditions of incarceration and view Nelson Mandela’s maximum-security prison cell.

Day 9

Cape Town (B)

Take a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula as you travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, with stops at Llandudno look-out point and Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbor with magnificent mountain views and beach.

Drive through Chapman’s Peak, one of the world’s most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

Day 10

Cape Town (B)

Transfer from Cape Grace to Lanzerac or River Manor Guesthouse.

Day 11

Cape Town / Stellenbosch / Cape Town (B)

After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the beautiful university town of Stellenbosch for a full day tour in the Winelands. This delightful drive winds its way to the heart of the Cape Winelands, through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. The tour will include an informative cellar tour and wine tasting that gives a personalized insight into the finer points of wine-making.

Day 12

Cape Town / Departure (B)

Transfer to Cape Town airport to board your homebound flight.
