Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! On arrival at Kathmandu’s International airport, you will be met by our representative in the arrival area after you clear immigration and customs formalities. Depart for your hotel for check in.

Day 2
Kathmandu (B)

After breakfast proceed on a half day tour of Kathmandu city – the unique and fascinating capital of Nepal. Drive to the central Durbar Square Hamuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, see the Mahadev & Parvati Temple, House of the Goddess Kumari – the house of the vestal virgin or the living Goddess and walk around the local bazaars.

In the afternoon drive through the Nepalese country-side and visit Patan, known as the ‘City of Grace and Fine Arts where you will witness interesting and beautiful places of art and architecture. En-route you will also be able to visit a particularly interesting exhibit and salesroom at the Tibetan Refugee Craft Centre. The tour also includes a visit to the sky piercing temple of the Teleju and the Statue of Yogendra Malla, other Temples and old windows and carved balconies of wood, curio shops and bazaars. Rest of the day at leisure.

Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3
Kathmandu (B)

This morning enjoy a half day tour visiting the ancient city of Bhadgaon along with the Hindu temple Pashupatinath and the Buddhist stupa Bodhnath.

Bhadgaon was an ancient capital of Nepal. Also known as Bhaktapur it is the home of medieval art and architecture. The main square contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces such as the Lion Gate, the palace of 55 Windows, the Batsala and Nyatpola temples.

Also visit Bodhnath, a colossal stupa, one of the largest in the world. It is generally acknowledged to be one of the most important Tibetan Buddhist monuments outside Tibet. Pay an outside visit to one of the holiest Hindu shrines in the world – Pashupatinath Temple (non Hindus are not allowed inside). This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the bank of the river Bagmati, it is a pagoda style temple with a gilt roof and richly carved doors.

The afternoon is at leisure for independent activities.

Depart Kathmandu (B)

This morning transfer to the airport for your international flight back home.
