Arrive Tel Aviv (D)

Welcome to the Holy Land. On arrival in Tel Aviv, you will be met by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Netanya.

Day 3
Caesarea / Haifa / Mount Carmel (B/D)

After a delicious Israeli breakfast you travel up the coastline to the ancient Roman city of Caesarea and continue to Haifa, the third largest city in Israel.
Visit the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris. Here lies Elijah’s grotto, and home of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Celebrate Mass in this peaceful spot. Enjoy the breath- taking view from atop Mount Carmel before you proceed to Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon.

Day 4
Nazareth / Cana / Galilee (B/D)

This is where Our Lord spent the first 30 years of His life. Visit Nazareth and see Mary’s Well where Angel Gabriel told Mary she will give birth to Our Lord Jesus Christ. See St. Joseph’s Church and celebrate Holy Mass at the Church of the Annunciation. Continue to Cana to visit the Wedding Church, site of Jesus’ first miracle. This is an opportunity for couples to renew their marriage vows. Stop at Yardenit on the river Jordan, the traditional Baptismal site.

Day 5
Galilee (B/D)

Today spend the day literally in the Lord’s footsteps. Sail across the Sea of Galilee. See the “Jesus Boat” uncovered in 1986 from the mud of the seashore by a group of young boys. Explore Capernaum and see the new church built on St. Peter’s house and visit Chorazim which was cursed by Our Lord because the people did not follow His teaching. Drive to Mount of Beatitudes for Holy Mass, where Our Lord preached the Sermon on the Mount, then to Tabgha, Greek for Seven Springs, and the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. There will be an opportunity to taste St. Peter’s fish for lunch (optional.) Continue on to Mount Tabor and the Church of Transfiguration, before proceeding down the Jordan Valley towards Jericho, the oldest known inhabited city in the world. To the south is the Dead Sea and to the west is the Mount of Temptation and the Judean wilderness. Stop in Qumran, site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Late this afternoon follow the Ancient Pilgrims route via the Samaritan Inn to Jerusalem.

Day 6
Jerusalem / The Holy City / Bethlehem (B/D)

Enjoy the unforgettable view from atop of the Mount of Olives. Visit the Church of Pater Noster and the Chapel of the Ascension. Walk down the Palm Sunday Road, stopping at the Chapel of Dominus Flevit (the Teardrop) where you will celebrate Holy Mass, before continuing to the Church of All Nations in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Descend across the Kidron Valley to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, where the Apostle denied Christ 3 times. Continue on to Mt. Zion, to visit the Room of the Last Supper, King David’s Tomb, and the Church of the Dormition. Here the Holy Mother fell into eternal sleep. From here we will drive to nearby Bethlehem and the Shepherd’s Field. See the Church of Nativity built over the birthplace of Our Lord, and St. Catherine’s built over the tomb of St. Jerome.

Day 7
Jerusalem / Old City / Ein Karem (B/D)

Enter the Old City via Zion Gate to see the Wailing Wall, and the Temple Mount, see the Pool of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church (birthplace of Mary), the Chapel of Flagellation, Ecco Home Arch, and onto the visa Dolorosa, the Way of the Cross to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Here we celebrate Holy Mass.
In the afternoon visit the village of Ein Karem the birthplace of St. John the Baptist, and see the Church of Visitation where Mary visited her cousin lizabeth. Back in Jerusalem you have a panoramic tour of the new city.

Day 8
Departure Tel Aviv (B)

Transfer to Tel Aviv for your flight back home.
